First : who's Varney ?
Varney is a centuries-old vampiric varlet from London. He claims the Victorian novel Varney the Vampire was based on him. In the novel Varney dies when he falls into a live volcano. He says what really happened is he tripped over while carrying an ice-cream cone.
Throughout the ages Varney, using his expert knowledge, tried to seduce many Princesses - and always failed. Ok, not always. Almost always ;-)
During his existence through the centuries, Varney acquired a lot of knowledge, from all domains and continents. He fell in love with Queen Elizabeth I, the 'Virgin Queen'. He used all his seductive skills to seduce her. Next morning she was still the Virgin Queen...
Years later Varney almost got a job working for Dracula (Renfield got the job instead; Dracula thought he was less flaky.)
Varney saw the early years of cinema. He went to Hollywood and played Varney the Vulture in a Jerry Lewis movie! He's seen everything...Even a Goth Princess without her make up ;-) He was never quite the same after that experience...
Under another name, he is a famous writer of unread books and unmade screenplays, and director of unseen movies, always looking out for that special new Gothic Princess to star in his "next" Vampire movie.

So who's Froggy ?
Froggy is an awful frog from France. Younger than Varney (by just a couple of centuries), he knows everything about vodkas. Totally unable to seduce anybody, he decided to run this site to explain to the whole word his extraordinary new concepts about love, women, and his daring seduction plans : everybody can succeed with a good plan! Except him, of course :-)

He was also a great chess player, in the old times. Ok, almost great ;-) Now he prefers Gothic Princesses to chess queens.

Froggy's favorite Gothic Princess is the actress Barbara Steele in her early movies like Mask of the Demon, The Terror of Dr. Hichcock and The Pit and the Pendulum. He dreams every night over his vodka of discovering the new young Barbara Steele and introducing her unearthly face to the waiting world. Will he find her - and will it be you? :))
